Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how MoneyLine API (“MoneyLine,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use our API, dashboard, and websites (the “Service”). Questions and requests about your data can be sent to cole@moneylineapp.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address, password (stored by our authentication provider, never in plain text), and account settings.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number never touches our servers; we store only a Stripe customer reference and whether a card is on file.
- API usage data. Requests made with your API keys — endpoints called, timestamps, credits consumed, response codes, and IP addresses — used for billing, rate limiting, abuse prevention, and support.
- Website data. Standard technical logs (browser type, pages visited, referrers) and any information you send us directly, such as support emails.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve the Service.
- Meter usage, enforce plan limits, and bill for subscriptions and overage.
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- Send transactional email about your account (verification, billing, usage limits, service changes). We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing
We share information only with service providers that operate the Service on our behalf — payment processing (Stripe), authentication, cloud hosting, databases, and email delivery — each bound to use it only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of MoneyLine, our customers, or the public.
5. Retention and security
We keep account and billing records for as long as your account exists and as required for tax and accounting purposes. API usage logs are retained for billing and abuse-prevention purposes and then deleted or aggregated. We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, hashed keys and credentials, and access controls — though no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
6. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update account details and billing information from the dashboard.
- You can request a copy of your personal information, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, by emailing cole@moneylineapp.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Transactional emails are required to operate your account; we do not send marketing email without consent.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance. See also our Terms of Service.
