Terms of Service

Effective date: August 10, 2026

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and MoneyLine API (“MoneyLine,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the MoneyLine API, the dashboard, and the websites we operate (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company, and “you” refers to it.

2. The Service

MoneyLine provides a sports data API: odds, player props, scores, statistics, and derived analytics such as hit rates, value, expected value, and arbitrage signals. The Service is informational. We are not a sportsbook, we do not accept or place wagers, and nothing in the Service is betting, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you and your users, including any laws governing sports wagering in your jurisdiction.

3. Accounts and API keys

You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. Creating an API key requires a verified email address; free-tier accounts must also have a payment card on file (see Section 4). You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential and for all activity under your account and keys. Tell us promptly at cole@moneylineapp.com if you believe a key has been compromised.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Plans, monthly credit allowances, and rate limits are described on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Free tier. The free tier requires a payment card on file before an API key is issued. There is no time-limited trial: staying within the free tier’s monthly credit allowance never results in a charge. Your card is charged only if you upgrade to a paid plan, or if you exceed your plan’s credit limit while auto-upgrade is enabled. Auto-upgrade is enabled by default and can be turned off at any time from the dashboard; with it off, API access pauses when you hit your limit instead of charging your card. When an auto-upgrade occurs, your plan moves to the next tier, your card is charged (the next tier’s monthly price for free-tier accounts; prorated when moving between paid plans), and we email you a notification.

Paid plans. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until canceled. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Business-tier overage usage is billed at the published per-credit rate. You can manage your payment method, invoices, and cancellation at any time from the dashboard’s billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. License and data rights

Subject to these Terms and your plan limits, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Service and use the data it returns (“MoneyLine Data”) in your own applications, products, analyses, and internal systems, including commercial ones.

You may:

  • store MoneyLine Data, including historical odds observations, for your own records and analysis;
  • use MoneyLine Data for statistical analysis, research, and the training or evaluation of machine-learning models, including models used commercially;
  • continue to use statistics, insights, and models you derived or trained from MoneyLine Data after your subscription ends.

You may not:

  • resell, repackage, or redistribute MoneyLine Data as a standalone data product — including offering it through your own API, data feed, bulk downloads, or any format intended to serve as a source of raw sports data for others;
  • remove or misrepresent the source of the data where attribution is provided;
  • use the Service to build a product whose primary purpose is to substitute for the Service itself.

Displaying MoneyLine Data to end users inside your application (for example, showing odds, props, or edge signals in an app or website) is permitted and is not considered redistribution of a standalone data product. If you are unsure whether your use case is permitted, ask us at cole@moneylineapp.com.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not circumvent rate limits, credit accounting, authentication, or other technical controls.
  • Do not share, sell, or rotate API keys across accounts to avoid plan limits.
  • Do not use the Service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt or degrade the Service or access it by automated scraping outside the API.

We may suspend or throttle access that we reasonably believe violates this section, and will restore it once the issue is resolved.

7. Data sources and accuracy

MoneyLine Data is aggregated from licensed third-party data feeds and providers. Odds and lines move quickly and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate; derived signals (including value, EV, and arbitrage calculations) are estimates, not guarantees. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Always verify prices with the sportsbook before placing any wager.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for the Service or other customers, or fail to pay amounts owed. Upon termination your API access ends; Sections 5 (your rights in derived works), 7, 9, and 10 survive.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoneyLine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or wagering losses, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for all claims in any twelve-month period will not exceed the amounts you paid us for the Service in that period (or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing). You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MoneyLine is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MoneyLine regarding the Service.
